The area for which an Exploration Permit is issued is set out in the granting order. It may not exceed five hundred (500) km2 for an Industrial Exploration Permit for bauxite and iron, one hundred (100) km2 for an Exploration Permit Industrial Operations relating to other substances, and sixteen (16) km2 for Semiindustrial Exploration Permits for these substances.
