The area for which a Concession is granted is defined in the granting decree. It must correspond, as closely as possible, to the boundaries of the Deposit(s), as defined in the feasibility study. The Concession’s perimeter must be the simplest polygon possible, with sides aligned North-South and East-West.
The delivery of a Concession cancels any prior Exploration or Mining Operation Permit for the area covered by the Concession.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the Concession’s granting decree, the obligations that were incumbent upon the holder pursuant to an Exploration Permit or Operating Permit are reduced or broadened to take into account the reduction or increase in the area covered by the Exploration Permit or the Mining Operations Permit.
