If at the expiration of the term of a Mining Title or Authorisation, the Administration has not acted on an application for renewal of such Title or Authorisation which was made in the requisite form and within the prescribed time limits provided in this Code and its implementing regulations, such Permit or Authorisation shall be automatically extended without further formality until the date of renewal or the notification to the holder that the application has been denied.
If no decision has been made on an application for renewal of Mining Title, in the requisite form and within the prescribed time limits provided in this Code and its implementing regulations, three months after its expiration date, the expiration will constitute the deemed acceptance of the application, provided that the conditions for the automatic renewal provided in Articles 24, 33, 40 and 45 of this Code, and obligations regarding the surrender of the site and regarding geological results of this Code are met.
