For reasons of public order, decrees of the President of the Republic on the recommendation of the Minister in charge of Mines, may classify certain zones, for a limited time period, as closed zones and suspend the granting of Staking permits or Artisanal operation licenses, Exploration Permits or Mining Operation Permits and Mining Concessions for some or all Mining Substances or Quarry Substances.
