Any of the following will be punishable by a fine of seven million, five hundred thousand (7,500,000) GNF to fifteen million (15,000,000) GNF:
- any failure to file a report required by this Code to the Ministry in charge of Mines and the National Mining Authority;
- any failure to notify the Minister responsible for Mines and the National Mining Authority, as provided in this Code;
- any hindrance to the exercise of the rights of the National Mining Authority that this Code confers.
This fine is tripled and the prison sentence doubled for any subsequent offence.
