A dewatering pump is a mechanical device used in mining operations to remove accumulated groundwater, surface water, or process water from open pits, underground workings, sumps, and tailings ponds. In bauxite, gold, iron ore, and diamond mining, dewatering pumps are essential for maintaining safe and dry working conditions, preventing flooding, and managing water ingress that could disrupt operations.
